ThanksGiving Point Half!!

The Thanksgiving Point half marathon was this morning. A race I have been entered in for 5 months. Well last week Taylor decided he wanted to do it......it totally threw me off guard. For 1 he hasn't ran once....2 he didn't have shoes, and 3 he has never wanted to do it before! But 1 week before the race he bails in with all he had....still never running a lick before the race!!!

Well we did it, it was a hard run....totally on a golf course, up and down, switch backs, and gravel. It was the hardest run I have ever done in 2 years.....but we ran together, and finished together with a pretty okay time...2 hours 5 minutes, at a 9:33 pace!! I never doubted for a second that he couldn't do it!! One of the coolest thing happened too, as we were about to mile 10.. Taylor's IPoD started playing the song "When I get where I'm going" the song we used at his mom's funeral!! He has a shuffle Ipod so it was total coincidence!!!! He pulled his earbud out of his ear and put it in mine....it was just the MOJO we needed!!

My parents, and the kiddo's were cheering us along the route, which made it all that much better!! Thanks mom and dad for taking the kids!!

At the finish line they had a booth where you could take your picture with a milk mustache!!! We couldn't"t pass it up!!

Tooth Fairy!!

Yep!!!! After a week of Tate's first loose tooth hanging on by a thread.......IT"S OUT!!!!! The Tooth Fairy came, and I have to say I am a little sad....it is nothing but growing up from here on out!!!! I don't know about all this growing up business!!!

Breaking News!!

We have had an eventful weekend!!! One of the genius's that are doing the subdivision around us, decided to burn a bunch of old power poles with creosote, and a bunch of other stuff 3o feet from our hay barn. Taylor tried to get them to burn it elsewhere, but that went over like a ton of shi&$#! So flames went and the fire department had to come yesterday and today to keep things from getting out of hand. The kids thought it was awesome. We perched ourselves on top of the haystack and watched them keep it under control!!!!!

Easter in Lehi!

We decided to get some tickets to the Lehi Easter festivites!! Pretty fun. It wasn't like the old days were there were eggs scattered out, and it was a free for all. There were games and stations, but it was a lot of fun!! We went with Pot Pie, Reago,and Brinlee. Our kids are just like siblings....I LOVE IT!!! My kids grab Cally's hand and go and hers do the same with me. I wouldn't have it any other way!!

The kids made a haul, so for $2 a ticket, it was a pretty good day!!

Happy Birthday Grandma Great!!!!

My Grandma Delma's birthday was last week, and we all got together on my dad's side, ( well most of us) and went to dinner. It is so much fun to get together with everyone. We all live a ways away from eachother, so when we can do it, it is great! LOTS & LOTS OF KIDS!!!! Who knew that all of us cousins would have so many kids, and so many sets of twins!! I hope you had a great day Grandma...we love you so much and are so happy that we got to celebrate with you!!

Construction!!!!

We are chin deep in construction at our house!!!! I am so excited to be getting a new kitchen!!! Our bathroom turned out incredible, so I am really looking forward to seeing the final result of the new heart of the house!

Living in the mess though...not so much. It really has not been to bad. We did have to crash at my parents a couple of night last week, while the paint dried. Twins and fresh paint aren't a great combination. Hopefully in 2-21/2 weeks, I will be baking the cookies that I have promised from my NEW OVEN!!!!! Until then it looks like we are living in a hazmat house!
