The Cabin

Weekends like this just don't get any better, or happen often enough.  We went down to Steph's family cabin in Fairview!!! It is heaven in the mountains.  So relaxing, so quiet, and so much fun with family!! Thank you Heath and Steph for inviting all of us.  And thank you Mick and Cathie for sharing!!!!

The 5 Taylor cousins!!!

My 3 munchkins!

This little man had another life in the mountains, I am sure of it!!! He is like a mountain goat....climbing exploring.....just being a 7 year old boy in heaven!!! We ended up playing Man Tracker a lot of the weekend.  ( If you watch the discovery channel it will all make sense!!! lol)  He can run like a jack rabbit, and bush wack so fast nobody could catch him!!  HE HAD A BLAST!!!

He even got brave enough to do the zip line by himself!!

Grandpa tried.....but Tate was always a step ahead!!

Tate and Carson played till they dropped.  Nothing like being a kid and having cousins!!

Carson and Tanner we the first ones to try the zip line..... I'm not sure that is exactly what Carson had in mind!!!!LOL

Of course Reese did it!!

The twins had a great time to.....riding the 4 wheeler with Grandpa...roasting "smarshmellows"... They got right in on all the action!!

All this boy needs is his dog.........

and his Grandpa!!!!

All this boy needed was an ax......

and a fire to play in!!! Totally what 12 year old boys are great at!!

All I needed was this amazing swing and a cup of coffee!!! There is absolutely, hands down, no better place to wake up in the morning and have a good cup of coffee!!!!

and what other better way to start your day, than with Aunt Steph's M&M pancakes!!!!

Grandpa and GG even got in on the zip line action!!!

Girls Club!!!

Fun weekend, great food, and even better company!!!
Thanks again!!!

1st day of PreSchool!!!

It's crazy to think that my little incubator babies are off to preschool........those tiny little preemies with lines, feeding tubes, and surgery scars, are  spreading their wings!!!!!   So far they LOVE IT!!!  We could not have found a better place to send them, Mrs. Charlee and Mrs. Aimee are awesome, so dang cute with the kids!! Reese is flying solo being the only girl with 10 boys, but she doesn't care, she can hold her own!!  The first day when I picked them up it was a typical boy girl situation!!! Reese came out smiling and talking a million miles and hour, telling me about EVERYTHING!!!! Whit came out with a smile, but his shirt was half tucked in half out, and he had this look on his face like..." that was fun, but holy cow!!!"  All he would say is that it was "good" and that" he was really tired"!!  I am pretty sure they are going to have to be in the same class forever, or I will never know what Mr. Whit should or shouldn't be doing!!! Reese keeps track of all the details!!!!

It has been such a fun week.  Everyone has somewhere fun to go and do!!  A part of me will always be sad that everyone is growing up so fast, but it is also really really fun!

Good luck twiners!!! You are going to do GREAT11

Battle Creek Falls

For  12 years now at my work, I have been hearing people talk about this hike up to a water fall  in Pleasant Grove.  I have wanted to take the kids, but just got around to it this past Labor day!!  It's funny how you just drive around all over the county for years and never see the hidden gems that are all around you!!
It is a great little hike, the twins made it, not to far some steeper parts but totally do able!!!  The kids had a blast, and right as we got to the Battle Creek Falls, there were some adrenaline junkies repelling down the water fall!!! Good watching!!!

XOXOXO!

Tate has turned into quite the adrenaline junkie himself!! He just gets braver, and braver, not worrying about the what ifs so much!! I love it! It surprised me that he wanted to cross this log, but he did, and he went out and back!!!

The hike was a little more than what Whit signed up for.... his legs hurt about 15 feet from the car!!!!  I kept telling him you can do it, look at all these kids that are hiking!!  When we got to the falls, he said," wooh..that sure was a busy day mom"!!  LOL!! So he rested on the rock!

Yep, you guessed it, Petunia was not about to sit on the sidelines! She did it too.  Well, at least until Taylor couldn't get to her!!!!

LOL!! He started where Tate was at, and turned around and called it a day!! Good job Pork Chop!

Geez... I Love these guys!!
