Everyone's Obssesion!!

The other night, we were watching CMT, and Jason Aldean came on..( he is my new Georgi by the way)!!!! And Reese turned around and said plain as day...." I like Taylor Swift"!!! We didn't even know she knew the name....let alone know how and when to use it. So lucky for Taylor Swift she has one more fan!!!LOL!

A Very Merry Month!!

Chritmas 2010....some how this pic didn't get posted earlier!!( I am sure it wasn't operater error)!!! This is Whit Christmas day with his new roping dummy. He as too worn out to stand up and rope it...so he roped in the recliner!!

2010 Christmas is in the books!! Tate was so into the magic of Santa this year, it really made it fun!! We did so many fun things with our families! Especially GG and Grandpa, we can always count them in for a good time and we love it! We also got to do a lot with Heath, Steph, and the boys...which is always, always fun. I love that my kids are able to make so many memories with their cousins!!! So here are A LOT of pictures over the month....( remember this is my only way I scrapbook) so it is picture overload.

We started of the Christmas fever with the coolest Live Nativity in Alpine! If you get a chance go..they have camels, and sheep and the whole bit. The coolest part though is that a part of the proceeds which you donate whatever you can....got to The Huntsman Cancer Center! A place close to all of our hearts!! Thanks for inviting us Heath and Steph!!

Next was the lights at Thanksgiving point... we had a little dinner..rode the trolley...

Next was the annual Hopes Christmas party!!! You have not seen fun chaos until you seen this!!!! We had so much fun....games...singing...and priceless presents from Hopes!!!

Tate is getting so fun..this is the result of our reindeer game. Get on a team..stuff some balloons...put it on someones head and run to the table singing Rudolph with all you had!!!! He did awesome! So did you Tysh, Kam, and Brykn...he rocked to I jut didn't get a picture!!!

Christmas Eve was a GG & Grandpa's with Heath, Steph, and the boys....I hope that it continues as a tradition, because it is so fun to all get together that night! The kids were WIRED!!!!! I love that....love it, love it!!! There is nothing like being a kid at Christmas!!

Christmas at who's?????? I know what your thinkin....well, let me give the run down!! Garwee is Robyn...who is Pot Pie's mom....who is my BFF like sister Cally.....who is Pee Pa's daughter...who is Scott!!!!!!!! BB..is Pot Pie's daughter Brinlee, who came up with all of these names for her family when she was little that have stuck, so now that is what my kids all call everyone because the Weird Wilson's are our second family!!!! Fewwwww..that was a lot!!!!

But seriously, we are really lucky to have all of these guys in our lives, and Sunday we had a Christmas party at Garwee & Pee Pa's house. It was a blast..Santa came and spoiled the kiddo's. Dinner was delish...and we even got new recruits...Marci's ( the newest Wilson..well not newest just newlywed) niece's and nephew!!! Thank you so much Garwee, and Pee Pa, Pot Pie, Loni, and all of the rest of you. I love that we are all so connected!!!! We love you...Merry Christmas!!

Creepy Elf on the Shelf!!

Oh my hell.....so my cousin tells me about this cutest Christmas tradition "Elf on a Shelf"...i am not sure where I have been because I had never heard of it before...but it is quite a big ticket item...I had to call around to find a bookstore that actually had it!!!

So I was so excited to have Tate find it, and have him be so excited about it to....what 5 year old wouldn't think that an elf sent by Santa would be cool...........well........apparntely mine!!!

We went to see Santa that same night...so when we got home the "Elf on the Shelf" box was sitting on our back door!!! It lit him up..he was so excited...I tell him"Tate it says it is from Santa, I bet he knows where we live now that you talked to him"!!!! So we go inside and check it out..he says"mom there is an elf and a book!!!"" Still very excited about it, I tell him lets go read it.

So he is sitting next to me in the chair, and we are reading the story, and I can tell with each page he is getting nervous!!! The story goes.....that Santa sent you this elf that you must name, and he is Santa' helper and watches how you are during the day and reports back to Santa at night....so he is always in a different place in the morning!!

Well Tate's little"Bill Nye the Science Guy" brain was going a mile a minute!! He was creeped out BAD!!!! He wouldn't hardly talk after that.....just think....finally he asked me.."mom is"Joe" ( that is official name) going to come alive tonight??? " Joe is just pretend, he isn't real" The poor kid had the willies so bad he slept with us that night!!!! I totally thought I had ruined the magic of Christmas at our house. So he wakes up the next morning and comes into the kitchen...won't even go in the living room and watch t.v. like usual. After about 5 minutes he heads into the room and walks clear around the spot we had left Joe, looking out of the corner of his eye the whole way!!! I was gigglin so hard. NO one said a word. So finally about 10 minutes pass and I say "Oh yeah Tate, what about" I didn't even get it out all the way and he immediately points to Joe and his new place!!! It took about an hour for him to think about it and decide that Joe really is magic, and that he did go to the North Pole last night!!!! Now...it is the first thing he does in the morinng is find that creepy little elf!!! Kids are so damn funny!!! So I hope we can keep the magic alive with this cool tradition. Next year hopefully won't be so dramatic!!!!!!

Happy Birthday Whit and Reese... We have had the funnest day celebrating the babies birthday with everyone. It is unbelievable to me that they are 2!!!!! We had a farm party today with lots of family and great friends!! Thanks for coming everyone!!

Whit and Reese..holy cow...... you two are sooooo full of it!!! I don't think that there will ever be a birthday, that I don't thank heaven that you two are happy and healthy. We are so lucky to have the two of you...even on day that you have each other in headlocks!!!!LoL!!

Whit...you are 100% boy....rowdy, wild, and full of you know what!!!! But at the same time you are so thoughtful and lovey!!!! I can't get enough of that cheesy little grin, and those great big hugs!!! Reese....you are little miss independent...I have no don't that you will do whatever you set your mind too in life! You are defiantly my girl with your love of purses, and shoes!!! I love your squeaky little voice, and contagious laugh!! You two are amazing little people with a bond only twins can have! We love you soooo sooo much. Happy Birthday Babies!!!!

Something Special!!

They say that you have to have rain to have a rainbow, and that is totally how I feel about the way the babies came, and the people we met along that crazy journey. Today the babies got an early birthday present in the mail from Tena....the most amazing NICU nurse at Primary Children's. We fell in love with Tena instantly, she was there for us to cry on her shoulder, answer our many many questions, and to celebrate the good! She called Reese "button" and loved on her for us when we couldn't be there...I was always so relieved to call up there and find out that Tena had her....

So today the babies both got presents and a card from her (she always kept track of Whit and Tate too..and made sure that they were doing good). I love getting the letters, it makes me cry, but they are always happy and grateful tears. It takes me back, and reminds me just how lucky we were to get these babies home and healthy. I am not sure how many nurses would remember a birthday both years....but apparently it is someone special!

Thank you Tena.....thank you, thank you, thank you.....we think of you all the time. I am so taken back that you remember my babies and love them so much!! I can't wait until Reese is old enough to hear the whole story and understand what an important person you are in her life. We were all so happy to hear from you...Thanks again for the presents.....but most of all for remembering.... You are definitely something special!! We love you!!!

Very Thankful!

Thanksgiving was great this year! I really think it was one of the yummiest I remember...everyone brought such good food! I love that our family and families are all so connected. We have a pretty cool group. We ate, and ate, and ate, and ate...( you get the picture!) we played a little ping pong, and just hung out with everyone, which is what I like best! Thanks for coming everybody, I love you all so much and am thankful for you everyday, not just on Thanksgiving!!!!LOL!!

The gang...and yes...we ate on the ping pong table...maybe a little redneck...but it worked pretty good!!! We even found a bottle of "Taylor Wine".... we had to have it!!! Not bad either!


The kids table....they thought they were a big deal!!! Sparkling Cider and all!



Reese was helping a little in the kitchen that morning!! We only had to do a little adjustment on the apron to fit!

And this is what you look like when you run a 5k at 8am...when the temperature is 3*!!!! Taylor said I looked like a Ninja!! Holy hell it was cold....I'm pretty sure that my fingers were only a degree away from frostbite!!!!!

Hope everyone had a happy Thanksgiving...and are looking forward to the Christmas Cheer!! Enjoy the simple things that happen over the next few weeks.....Christmas parties....baking cookies, and candies, the magic in your kids eyes when they see a house full of Christmas lights..... because in the end those are the memories that will last a lifetime!

A Little Backwards!!!

This little boy is going to give Taylor and I a run for our money!!!! He is Hillarious.....he is so sweet and lovey, but such a little shi#^ at the same time. He is ALL BOY, and all COWBOY!! This had us laughing so hard because he thought he was a genius!!!

Date Day with The Kiddo's

Yesterday was one of those days that was just good. We all spend the day together outside at the field chopping wood and exploring. Then we headed to Monkey Island!!! But even better than that for me and Taylor was we got PURPLE PIG PIZZA!!!!!! Only the bet pizza ever!!! I grew up on the stuff, and then they closed..so sad!! But now they are back and it tastes exactly the same!!!SOOOO GOOD!!!! It was way fun!! It was one of those days that when we all got back in the car, and I turned around and looked at 3 car seats full of kids drinking sprite, with pizza sauce faces...I knew it didn't get any better!!


Reese...she is afraid of NOTHING......she climbed all the way up to the top BY HERSELF..she wold not let us help her...and she went again and again and again!

Tate was running around the place like a crazy man..he had so much fun!
