"W" and "R" had there big check-up and developmental test this past week from Nurse Jill! Our insurance has an awsome program for Preemie's and they have a nurse come to our house and check on them once a month. It is really cool, because Jill does a lot of developmental stuff that never gets done at a regular Dr. visit, and it helps to make sure that if they are falling behind on skills or just growning in general, then we can get them the help they need.
But I am so happy to say that they are doing GREAT! At 6 months adjusted age they do a big developmental test, to make sure that their motor skills, and cognitive skills are where they should be, and they are right on track, even over achievers in some areas, and for their real age of 8 months, (well actually 9 now) they are pretty dang close to right on track! Obviously "W" is a little bigger than his sis, 6 1/2 pounds bigger! He weighs 18lb 6 ounce and "R" weighs 12lbs even! She is a total runt and he is a chunka!!! "W" has 4 teeth, and"R" still has none!! They are as different as night and day, but they always know where the other one is and what they are doing, it is really cute, it's almost like they know that they should be looking out for the other! They both think that they are hot stuff sitting up on their own. "R" is a total girl, she never stops jabbering, and "W" likes to eat!!!! He has not turned anything down, green beans, squash, you name it he LOVES it! So here are a few pics of them showing off a little!
