The Boys Club!

Last Sunday night, Tate wanted to have a boys club camp out, out in the horse trailer,(it does have some living quarters, so don't worry, they weren't sleeping in the shi*&^! ) He was hell bend, and it took some coaxing, but we talked him into a night that we all didn't have to get up and go to work, so Taylor promised him Thursday they"d do it!!! He told him they he could any snacks he wanted, and it would be boys only! ( You had to be able to make arm pit noises to be in......I was out!!!)

So all week Tate has woken up every morning since and asked if it was boys club! We went to the store and got the snacks he wanted...Jerky, Cucumbers, and Cookie Dough!!!! He has been putting toys and clothes and his toothbrushes in there all week! So tonight is the night. Whit was invited, but he was told up front...any whining and he would be sent right back to the girls club!! They have their snacks,( I'm sure Taylor has an adult beverage!) some movies, and alot of reptile and Dino toys. He told me they were just going to be boys, and scratch and burp and stuff!!!!!! ( That is just what boys do I'm told!)

Anyway, the babies and I were kicked out, and I am sitting in the QUIET house... the babies are asleep, and I think boys club should be a weekly deal. I can get a piece of chocolate, sit in the recliner, and watch the Desperate Housewives of New Jersey that I DVR'd!!!!

I DID IT!!!

Today was a big day for me. With the help of my awesome running partner and friend Jen, and the help of my hubby and my parents, I finished my first half marathon!!! Something that 4 months ago I would have called B.S. on!!!!!

Jen and I got inspired after seeing the biggest loser contestants do it, and we thought...hell if they can we can!!!!LOL!! It was a lot of running for 3 months, but in the end totally worth it!!! It is amazing at what your mind....not your body can and will do, because my body was crying uncle about 10 miles in!!!! ( who ever thought that the last mile and a half should be up hill was up in the night!!!)

But we did it, we finished in 2 hours and 7 minutes, and had my family cheering me on the whole way!!! My mom gave me some inspiration...(Believe) and made some signs for the kids to hold, and it was just what we needed! Our saying around here when we are rodeoing or doing something competitive is "Give'r The Onions, and Tate has said for 2 months that is what he would say.......and that is what the sign said!!!! It was pretty cool!

So I celebrated today with a Lehi Bakery donut with the kids, and a handful of IBprohen with a chaser of Pepsi!!!( Leaded...NO DIET!!

Thanks again Jen, your awesome, I'm so glad our paths finally crossed, you were BIG inspiration!! And thanks Taylor for the awesome support and hanging with the kids on all the long runs!! And my parents, they rock and are behind me in everything I do!!!!! I love all you guys!

Tate had Reese laughing so hard tonight on the tramp! Whit was busy trying to give Tate a nervous breakdown by putting rocks on the tramp!!

Yep!!! She's Mine!!

Anyone who knows me pretty well, knows that I love PURSES!!!! I love them..I don't know why, but they call my name. If I am ever shopping with you and we loose eachother..just go to the purse section, that is where I'll be!!! Well DNA doesn't lie!!!! Reese likes her purses!!! She loves them, she has always got one on her arm...there is usually a dino in it, but she loves to carry it all over!!! It cracks me up! She'll pull it on her arm and wave to you as she is telling you B-Y-Y-Y-Y-E!!!!! But still don't let it fool you, she is still a wild woman...I had to take her to the DR. today because she was playing with the cat outside ( the barn cat mind you) and she bit her!!! I am sure that Reese did nothing to deserve it!!!LOL....but it did break the skin and require 10 days of antibiotic!!!!!

We Are Fool's Whether We Dance Or Not...So You Might As Well Dance!!!

I have found my new addiction!!! ZUMBA!!!!! I love it, I love to go and dance anyway, and Taylor...not so much, he will every now and then, but he doesn't see the joy in it like I do!! So I have been going to some of these Zumba classes around here, to break up the killer running that we have been doing to get ready for this race, and I am soooooo loving it! It is just a fun time with a bunch of girls to get your groove thing on!! Seriously if you haven't tried it yet, JUST DO IT!!! It doesn't matter if you not right on the move...hell I'm still trying to figure out how they shake their hips like that..but it doesn't matter cause you moving and groovin and having so much fun!!!! I LOVE IT!!!!

Check-Up's

The twiners had their 16 month check-up this week! They were hams in the doctors office, Reese growled like a Dino at the Dr. when he came in, and Whit flirted with everyone that passed him!!! Whit is 23lbs 10 ounces, and Reese is 16 lbs 1 ounce!! I was so happy that I was able to answers yes to all the usual questions for both of them this time!! Hooray!! We'll have to deal with some size issues for Reese, but not until she is 2, but like I said before she doesn't know she is small!!!!! After a day of the Doc, they were worn right out!!! And for 45 minutes or so it was quiet in this house!!!!!
