Happy 6th Tater!!!

Tater is 6!!!!!! We had such a fun party this weekend with family and friends, and then on his birthday on the 23rd, we went and celebrated at the Myan, and went Trilobites digging at the Dino Museum at Thanksgiving Point!!!! Tate was in heaven, we have a car load full of trilobites treasures!!! GG, and Grandpa came with us, and it was such a fun day!!! I love my kids birthdays, it is by far my favorite holiday of the year!!! ( yep even Halloween, but it is a very close second!!!) LOL!

This year he wanted an alligator for the cake!!!! And Whit and Reese practiced for a week singing him Happy Birthday!!!!!

This is the Trilobites dig. I recommend it!!! It was really fun!! I think my dad and Taylor got into it just as much as the kids did!!! We were all digging and hammering, and finding all sorts of treasures.......then we looked up, and said.." where is Whit?""" " have you seen Whit, no I haven"t seen Whit!!!

Well.......

He had shimmied through the fence , and walked over to the other side of the building....not to far, but not by us......and this is what I found!!!

He said..." I just ride cow, not find rocks" I told him..buddy it is Tate's birthday and our family is finding rocks, on your birthday, we can ride cows"!! He climbed out of the wagon, and said " "FINE" !!!!!! ( i am big trouble with this one!!)

We really all had a fun time, Reese got totally into it!! Tate found a rock with like 7 trilabites in it, and I thought he was going to pass out!!!! He is one awesome kid!!!

Happy Birthday Tate. I cannot wait for you to start school, and to put that smart little brain to work!!!! You are such a good kid, and a good listener!!! A great big brother, and I still don't know how I got so lucky to be your mom!!!! I love you!!!!

Reese's 1st Hairdo!!!

Hinckley and the Res!!!

Hinckely and the Reservoir, one of our traditional summer family affairs that we do every year, and that I think I look forward to the most!!! We rodeo, then head to the water to do dome boating with Jacquie and Robert and the rest of the gang!!

The little kids have a blast, and only get out of the water long enough to eat. The big kids have a blast too, but pay for it the next day!!! Riding on the tube is definitely a contact sport, and you have not given it your all if you haven't got a bruise or ten, and some sore muscles the next day!!!

Payson Lake!!!

Funny how things come full circle!!! This is the trailer that Taylor grew up camping in, and after a few changes of hands, we are now the proud new owners!!!! It is a 1974ish Fireball and we had a blast in it this weekend. I am sure that when Taylor was a kid sleeping on the top bunk that he would have never imagined that his kids would be in there one day to!! It is definitely vintage but it works like a champ.

So here is the fun that we all had. Celebrating GG's birthday, fishing, canoeing, eating and relaxing with some of the dirtiest little kids around!!! Thanks everyone for such a fun weekend!!!

I know that this looks a little funny.......and that is because IT IS!!!! This is what you have to do when you loose your binoculars in the lake after you tip over out of the canoe, when you are trying to beat your daughter in a canoe race!!!!! Sorry about your luck Dad and Buck, but at least you found your bi-knocks!!!!!!LOL!!

Tater & T-Ball

Go Utah Owls!!!! That is Tater's awesome T-ball team!!! I have to say I love T-ball. The kids are so damn funny. Between delayed reactions, butterfly catching in the out field, and the chit chat you hear on third base, it makes for some great entertainment!!!

Tate really likes it, looks like he did get some of his dad's DNA. Taylor was quite the ball player back in the day!!! It has been fun to watch all the kids getting better each game, and their coach is great!! Tate is wailing the ball into home plate like he means business, and sliding into the plates so he can get grass stains on his white baseball pants everygame.

Way to go Tate, and the Utah Owls!!!
