Halloween 2010!

I have to admit that I am a little sad that Halloween is over....I look forward to it all year so much, and it is here and gone before you know it. It was tonz of fun....Tate was Shark boy...GG made him the most awesome costume ever!!! I was Cruella Di Ville, and the babies were my Dalmatian's!! Reese was so into it...Whit WAS NOT!!!!! He had to wear his camo ball cap, not his Dalmatian hood, and it wouldn't keep the costume on long enough to get to many pictures...but he was all about the candy!! My mom went all out again on the party...yummy soups, and treats, and the best treat bags in the WHOLE WORLD..( according to some subdivision treat or treater's)!!! But they really are great Swag!!! I love it because it has become such a fmily thing, and there is nothing better than that to me!! Thanks Mom!!!

Me and the girls ran the Provo Halloween Half Marathon....I have a great group of running gals..they are so much fun..I didn't do as well a I had hoped... 2:10.....if I would have had a cell phone with me I would have called Taylor from mile 6 and said come get me....but throw up and all I finished, and I am happy about that!! I didn't get any pictures, it was insanely crowded, and really..... I was doin good to make it to the truck!!!! Good job Jen, Tif, and Trista....you guys were amazing !!!!!!! I hope we can do it again!!!! And Thanks to my family....all of you for coming and fighting that crowd, and ALWAYS supporting me...you have no idea how good it was this time to see all of your faces!!!!!

10 Years & Counting.......

Ten Years have gone by...3 kids have came.....a few heartaches have happened..... along with lots of love, lots of laughs and tons of great memories! Who knew that the rotten little boy that pulled my hair on our 3rd grade baseball team..... and the rotten little bugger I had a major meltdown over having to live by !! .....the boy who I thought just couldn't get any worse......would be the boy that I just can't get enough of!!!!!!!! Funny how things work out!!!

Breakfast With a Witch!

We kicked of the Halloween season last weekend with our annual trip to Gardner Village to have Breakfast With a Witch. So much fun.. the babies were totally into it this year. My mom, Steph and Tanner and Carson all went too. I LOVE HALLOWEEN!!!!!! It is by far my favorite holiday!!! I have wanted to be Cruella Di ville for a while now, and since the twins can't tell me yet what they want to be they are my dalmations.... Tate can tell me what he wants to be.... and it wasn't a dalmation!!!!....He was hell bent on being Shark Boy..... so my mom worked her magic and made the most awesome cotume..he loves it. We danced and ate, and sang.... Whit even made it up on stage..he's not afraid!! Thanks everyone for the fun....when do we get to wear our cotumes next!!!!!

Family Pictures 2010!

Family Pictures......what a deal!!! First I have to say that I am so happy with the way that these pictures turned out. I cannot believe how many great family shots she got, and different great shots too. Teneale your very impressive!!! And with that being said....there is something about getting family pictures done that sounds so easy......but for the mom..( or the one orchestrating the whole shin dig) it can be a little tough!!

I am not one to get worked up over anything to much,....but I have to say I do work up a sweat over family pictures. First....what to wear....do you match..do you not match...do you coordinate without trying to look like you tried to hard!!!!.....and then once you have the vision in your head....finding the vision is a whole different thing!!!!! LOL!!!

Then there is the getting everyone ready in their carefully planned outfit!!!! By the time everyone was in what they should be, my hair was curly from all the sweat!!!! I knew I should have put a garbage bag over Reese and her clothes...I didn't.... and from our house to the shoot...not even a mile away, she had found a morsel of a strawberry fig Newton in her car seat!!!! Luckily I had some wipes!!!

Then...you think alright, everyone look at the camera, and smile!!!!!......there is a better chance of winning mega bucks!!!!!! Whit would not smile for nothin..all he wanted to do was pick the sunflowers and whack Tate with them!!!! Reese would only sit on Taylor' lap, and Tate was busy picking the goat heads that were stuck in his boots from tromping through the sunflower patch!!!!! I think that is why I like these family pictures so much because they are so candid....and just they way things are right now, and I wouldn't change it for a minute!!!!! Whether they are smiling or crying the pictures are priceless to me and I will gladly do it all over again next year!!!LOL!!

Big Words!!

So..my mom called me on the way home from work yesterday, after Taylor had picked the kids up, with the story of the day!!! Tate had dropped her jaw again!!

Tate: "GG did you know that when I was a baby I went through a big change.....it was a metamorphosis"!!!!

GG: ????????????? Where in the world????

I have NO IDEA where this little mind came from, but i cannot wait to see what it comes up with next!!!!

Tate...Fantastic at Five!!!

We finally got Tater's 5 year old pictures done.. They turned out amazing like they always do...because of my AWESOME photographer TeNeale!!!( Thank YOU)!!!! I still can't beleive he is five! Like every mom...I wonder how it has happened so fast!!! He is really an amazing little boy. Smart..sensitive...and handsome to boot!!! He is my rockstar!!!

NIght Crawlers & A Night Owl!

At this house, bed time is early. Taylor and I both get up by 4:30 & 5...so by the time 9:00 rolls around my eyes are done!!! Which works pretty well...EXCEPT for one little girl, that does not like to go to bed early. In fact her second wind usually kicks in around 8:45 at night......and it is killing me. Seriously, she will stay up till 11:30 some times and there is no winding her down, she is usually just running circles around me and Taylor while we are trying to keep one eye open!!!

So Taylor put her to work and hunted night crawlers with her at 10:15 the other night...Tate and him were going fishing the next day, but both boys were asleep long before prime night crawler hunting!! I DO NOT like worms.....AT ALL....so she is a lot tougher than me. I guess that is what happens with 2 brothers....she loved it...it did wear her out a little and I think we got to bed before 11 that night!!!

And she is not afraid of no stinking worm.....!!!!!!! Tate was quite happy with the coffee can full of worms when he woke up the next morning!!
