Family Pictures 2010!

Family Pictures......what a deal!!! First I have to say that I am so happy with the way that these pictures turned out. I cannot believe how many great family shots she got, and different great shots too. Teneale your very impressive!!! And with that being said....there is something about getting family pictures done that sounds so easy......but for the mom..( or the one orchestrating the whole shin dig) it can be a little tough!!

I am not one to get worked up over anything to much,....but I have to say I do work up a sweat over family pictures. First....what to wear....do you match..do you not match...do you coordinate without trying to look like you tried to hard!!!!.....and then once you have the vision in your head....finding the vision is a whole different thing!!!!! LOL!!!

Then there is the getting everyone ready in their carefully planned outfit!!!! By the time everyone was in what they should be, my hair was curly from all the sweat!!!! I knew I should have put a garbage bag over Reese and her clothes...I didn't.... and from our house to the shoot...not even a mile away, she had found a morsel of a strawberry fig Newton in her car seat!!!! Luckily I had some wipes!!!

Then...you think alright, everyone look at the camera, and smile!!!!!......there is a better chance of winning mega bucks!!!!!! Whit would not smile for nothin..all he wanted to do was pick the sunflowers and whack Tate with them!!!! Reese would only sit on Taylor' lap, and Tate was busy picking the goat heads that were stuck in his boots from tromping through the sunflower patch!!!!! I think that is why I like these family pictures so much because they are so candid....and just they way things are right now, and I wouldn't change it for a minute!!!!! Whether they are smiling or crying the pictures are priceless to me and I will gladly do it all over again next year!!!LOL!!

Big Words!!

So..my mom called me on the way home from work yesterday, after Taylor had picked the kids up, with the story of the day!!! Tate had dropped her jaw again!!

Tate: "GG did you know that when I was a baby I went through a big change.....it was a metamorphosis"!!!!

GG: ????????????? Where in the world????

I have NO IDEA where this little mind came from, but i cannot wait to see what it comes up with next!!!!

Tate...Fantastic at Five!!!

We finally got Tater's 5 year old pictures done.. They turned out amazing like they always do...because of my AWESOME photographer TeNeale!!!( Thank YOU)!!!! I still can't beleive he is five! Like every mom...I wonder how it has happened so fast!!! He is really an amazing little boy. Smart..sensitive...and handsome to boot!!! He is my rockstar!!!

And this one...he calls this his mad face...it cracks me up...I had to have a picture of it to use later on in life!!!

NIght Crawlers & A Night Owl!

At this house, bed time is early. Taylor and I both get up by 4:30 & 5...so by the time 9:00 rolls around my eyes are done!!! Which works pretty well...EXCEPT for one little girl, that does not like to go to bed early. In fact her second wind usually kicks in around 8:45 at night......and it is killing me. Seriously, she will stay up till 11:30 some times and there is no winding her down, she is usually just running circles around me and Taylor while we are trying to keep one eye open!!!

So Taylor put her to work and hunted night crawlers with her at 10:15 the other night...Tate and him were going fishing the next day, but both boys were asleep long before prime night crawler hunting!! I DO NOT like worms.....AT ALL....so she is a lot tougher than me. I guess that is what happens with 2 brothers....she loved it...it did wear her out a little and I think we got to bed before 11 that night!!!

They were planning a sneak attack on a big bertha...she thought it was hilarious..she was all but army crawling!!

And she is not afraid of no stinking worm.....!!!!!!! Tate was quite happy with the coffee can full of worms when he woke up the next morning!!

Mr. Whit!

I don't know how many mile this rocking horse has been pulled around our house with a rope...but it is A LOT! Whit is the most love able..mischievous little man ever...but I love this face! No shirt...no shoes.....NO PROBLEM....he is still a cowboy!

Christmas List!

Tate gave me a heads up on his Christmas list last weekend.

Tate: "Mom I am going to ask Santa for a Guitar.... a microphone...and an IPad"!!!!! ( His cousins had one they were playing on......at an expert level no less!!!)

Mom: " Good luck with that Buddy!!!"

The Cabin!!

We were lucky enough to have Heath & Steph invite us up to Stephanie's families cabin, up Fairview Canyon this weekend. It was so much fun. GG & Grandpa came with us, and we played explored , rode this awesome zip line,relaxed and ATE!!!! We ate some of the yummiest food all weekend, from goodies, and treats, to Heath's famous Chili Verde.......DELICIOUS!!!! It really is times like these, when you don't have the everyday life distraction's, that you realize how good you have it and how much close family means!!! Thank you so much Heath & Steph, and the boys for taking us, and sharing your little slice of heaven... we love you and had soooo much fun!!!!




The Miller Cabin...

These two little monsters were a blast....they were DIRTY!!!! but they loved it. Whit wants to be big so bad so he can go hang with the big boys....and Reese already thinks she is...and bosses them around to get what he wants!!!

I wish we had Heath in this picture. I think it is so cute..... Thanks Tanner and Carson for being such awesome cousins!!!

Tate thought he was " Survivor Man" all weekend....he climbed and gathered, and explored until he wore himself out. I love it when he cuts loose and just loves being a boy!!

Although....the zip line he wasn't so sure about. But he did it and was very brave!!

It was so much fun...this zip line went for a long ways though the forest...you just had to bail of this platform and away you went,dodging tree's the whole time!! I loved it!

Whit even got in on the zip line action..and he wanted to do it again.... Reese didn't get to do it this time...no one thought they could hold on to her and keep her from falling though the harness!! Good Job Whit!

I love being able to hang with family..I mean what do you have if you don't have your family??? We are so lucky that we have GG & Grandpa and that they want to hang out with us so much... we love you guys and wouldn't have it any other way!!

I think this might be my new favorite picture!!
