Hope~ Fight ~Win!~

Everyone at sometime in their life, goes through things that are hard, and I mean hard.    Whether it hits your immediate family or closest of friends.......it is hard.   There is often no warning, no handbook, no crystal ball to help you figure out the future......you just have to take it one day at a time and do the best you can. 

I am so inspired by one of my close friends who is going through one of these trials.  We can all take a step back and learn a little something from a tricky situation.     She is as tough as they come.    Going through something so unexpected and at such a young age is hard, but taking it day by day and making sure life is as normal as can be for her young family has trumped everything else.  I am so proud of you... you are big inspiration to me and a lot of people. but you are a  hero to two tiny hearts,

Life is not fair sometimes, there is no way around it.....but if  all you do is focus on that, you are going to miss the opportunity to make lemonade out of lemons. 

 

 

 

100th Day!!

Tate Celebrated the 100th day of Kindergarten today!!! His school is so fun, they had them dress up like they were 100 years old!! So funny!!  The part that made the whole outfit was the bolo tie he was wearing...one of the last ones that my Gramps made....I know there was a big  smile in Heaven today!!!  The girls were so stinkin cute, they got right into it!! Way to go class!!!



Friends!

There is a silver lining in everything, and through the development of the subdivision around our house, we got Kiezek!! So lucky!!!  Tate started talking about  Kiezek from the very first few days of Kindergarten, little did we know that we share the fence around our backyard!!!!!!  It has been such a great thing for Tate to have a buddy to play with, and to have someone to walk into school with, ( our hardest part of the day)!!  He  would move him in if it were possible!!

I can see a lot of good times and great memories between these two boys!  I love having him over and listening to them play and make plans for the future!!!  Kiezek we are so happy that  you and your family are so close, and that we have gotten the chance to know you so well, WE LOVE IT!! 



Doctor Call!!!!

So I had to take Reese to the Dr. today. You would have never known she had anything wrong, a half hour before I realized her left ear was oozing she was wearing a cape, and only wanted me to call her "SUPER GIRL"!!!! 

 So we usually go the the pediatrician in Pleasant Grove, but since I was 99% sure she had an ear infection we went to the one by our house in Saratoga Springs.....the one really close to the Vet we use for Tank.   So I turn the corner to head west and I glance back in the rear view mirror just in time to see her pull herself forward out of her car seat, put her hand on her hips and say " Your not taking me to the DOG DOCTOR.......I am a GIRL!!!!!   Holy hell I almost hit the car in front of me.  I guess she didn't remember there was a pedo office on the route, and thought I REALLY opted for convience!!!! 

Incredible!!!!

I seriously am so dang excited about this!!! I know it might seem like small potatoes, but around here it is a BIG freakin deal!!!!  Tate finished his 1st Lego project all by himself!  I know that this has been done by many a 6 year olds, but we have a certain level of frustration around here that can be debilitating with even simple tasks if they can't be done on the first try!!!!

He sat down today...on and off....never a peep of wanting a little help, no tantrums, and words of "I CAN"T, not even one Lego thrown somewhere it shouldn't be.  Just looking at the directions, going with the flow and following step by step!!!!! This mama is PROUD!!!  I see big changes around here!!!!! WAY TO GO TATE!!!! 

January!!!

January always seems so boring to me.  There are no lights up anymore, the Christmas buzz is over...it's kinda gloomy outside, and dang cold......Just not my favorite month....it's not bad just uneventful!!!  So here is a little of what these three have been up to.........

Tate is at the cutest smile stage in the whole world..... I mean if you think about it, it is the only time that having no front teeth is cute!!!!  It still catches me off guard sometimes when I looking at him.....I love it~!!!

Reese......holy crap!!! This girl is going to help us meet  our medical deductible every year!!!!  This latest episode was a fall from the top of the bunk bed!!!!!! One humongous fat lip later and a heart attack for her parents she is okay.... so much for having a girly girl....she is tough!!

Mr. Whit.....I introduced the kids to my favorite movie of all time.."Denis the Menace"!!! Seriously I belly laugh no matter how many times I see it!  But I think we might have to lay off for a while....Whit doesnt' need any more pointers with a rope and he keeps calling everyone a baby rump kisser!!! He kept asking Taylor "can't get woose can you dad?!!!!"

These two have been hilarious lately....( when their not fighting that is)!!! But when they do play together it has to be one of the cutest things ever!!! ( And a little scary at times.........two heads can dream up A LOT more trouble than one)!!

I guess they made their own kind of redneck stadium seating here!!! Blankets, a box, and a little Dino Dan!!

 

This one I had to call my Dad, to come see.   They hooked up their horses to their pony cart!!!! Roanie and Mocha Joe!!! They played for hours....!

This one I didn't now was going on...I could here them laughing, and just thought they were playing.....but when I came in this is what I found...Reese pitching to Whit...who has a bat that is a piece of wood for the fire~~....Not sure why Reese has no shirt on.....but whatever!!!!LOL!!!

I love our house!!!
